 IFC (Interference Fit Construction) – Non-cast product which uses a proprietary process to insert heating elements into custom metal shapes. Does not require a casting mold, reducing tooling costs and leadtime.
Permanent mold casting – The aluminum “cast-in” heated part is the CAS core product. Utilizes proprietary low-pressure permanent mold casting process.
Sand casting – Alternative “cast-in” heated part. Utilizes sand cast manufacturing process to reduce leadtime and tooling costs. Often used for proof-of-concept.
Prototype cell - Dedicated equipment and personnel to reduce prototype leadtime. |
