Cast-In Heaters Make Better Steam Warmers
Problem:
Food products such as hamburger buns, dinner rolls and fish fillets are all steam warmed. Accommodating changing demand throughout the day helps restaurants keep customers happy.
Solution:
Water is placed in a cast-in aluminum heater pan where it is turned to steam very quickly. The ability of the cast-in heater construction to store more energy than other heating methods is a big advantage for the operator who needs more capacity at peak lunch and dinner hours. The cast-in heater construction also has an extremely long service life.
Originally this customer relied on a local foundry, but then switched to CAS because they required a UL® component recognized heater, more reliable quality and delivery which CAS was able to offer.
UL® is a registered trademark of the Underwriters Laboratories, Inc.
